Scientific colloquium with a cultural finale

The 3rd Klinkowström Day on Friday, September 5, 2025, will be held under the motto: "The double anniversary in view: the 250th birthdays of Philipp Otto Runge and Friedrich August von Klinkowström". The all-day colloquium consists of three parts: (1.) lectures by renowned experts on the Caspar David Friedrich anniversary in 2024 and on the painter personalities Runge and Klinkowström and their families, (2.) an architectural history tour of the castle and estate grounds, explaining what the estate looked like at the time when Runge and Klinkowström met here, and (3.) concluding with a concert in the castle chapel. The detailed conference program will be published here in due course. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required. The 3rd Klinkowström Day is being held with the kind support of the Pomeranian Foundation for Historical Education.
