Artist friends - then and now

German-Polish joint exhibition

The exhibition presents works that were created in April 2026 as part of a German-Polish art workshop in Lubmin. It stands for the cross-border dialogue between artists from Germany and Poland. The collaboration with the Association of Polish Visual Artists - Szczecin District (ZPAP) builds on a long tradition of artistic friendships. Joint work, exchange and mutual inspiration are visible here as a contribution to cultural understanding in the Baltic Sea region.

During the "Long Evening of Galleries" on Friday, 12 June, the Pomeranian Artists' Association will be offering a hands-on event at the Landesmuseum.

The German-Polish workshop was funded by the Metropolitan Region Szczecin Fund (Parliamentary State Secretary for Western Pomerania and Eastern Mecklenburg), the Bürgerfonds Kultur (Ministry of Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs), the Ehrenamtsstiftung MV and the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald and supported by Volksbank Vorpommern eG and Johannes Gerstäcker Verlag GmbH.
