May 23, 2026 – May 25, 2026 Schloss Broock Exhibition

ArtOpen 2026

Exhibition ...when the horizon opens...

The exhibition in the castle shows expressive painting with experimental mixed-media works. Bold colours meet unusual materials such as fabric, paper and found objects, creating multi-layered visual worlds. Emotional and social themes unfold between abstraction and figuration, providing food for thought. The works and sculptures invite the viewer to discover details and develop their own interpretations - an exciting interplay of technique and expression. In addition, Cornelia Kestner and Rainer Graßmuck are showing large-scale billboards in the outdoor area of the castle grounds.
