Fine sandy beaches and high dunes, rough seas and shallow coastal lakes, steep cliffs and gentle hills, many islands and bays, pink-purple heaths, beech and coniferous forests... We look at the Danish landscape and seascapes with ships from Christoph Müller's donation. The patron of the arts donated his extensive collection to the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in 2016: 380 Danish paintings, drawings and prints.
Inspired by a selection of the paintings in the Gallery of Romanticism, we then paint our own landscapes on easels in the museum's educational studio.
