The symposium invites you to explore the unlimited dimensions of the music of Bach and his contemporary Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber. Aspects such as infinity, the hovering between "not yet" and "no longer sayable" as well as the complexity of Bach's work are at the centre of lectures and discussions that combine perspectives from musicology, music education, theology and artistic practice. They will be complemented by a theologically anchored look at 80 years of Bach Week history.
