DRK workshop on personal emergency preparedness
Topic: "What if ..."
The Greifswald City Library and the German Red Cross invite you to the four-part event series "Civil protection out of the box" and prepare interested parties for their personal emergency preparedness - from behaviour in the event of a power failure to crisis communication and emergency cooking. In addition to useful knowledge, the events include practical exercises for individual preparedness.
In the 90-minute workshop "What if ...", participants learn about the personal impact of a disaster situation, how to behave in an emergency and how to communicate in a crisis. They will learn how to distinguish between siren sounds and how distances to the doctor, work or the shops take on a new meaning in the event of a crisis. You can also try out alternative communication methods such as Morse code and radio.
