Discover, experiment and create watercolour painting
Workshop on the basics of watercolour painting (beginners, no previous knowledge necessary, 8 sessions of 2 hours each)
Immerse yourself in the world of vibrant colours and gentle gradients! Watercolour painting fascinates with its lightness, transparency and endless creative possibilities. In this course you will learn the basics step by step and gain your own experience in using colours, water and brushes. From classic techniques such as wet-on-wet and glazing to playful experiments - we will explore the whole variety of watercolour and develop personal painting ideas. On the one hand we work according to specific instructions, on the other hand there is plenty of room for free and creative design. Depending on the interests and needs of the participants, the course can be flexibly adapted. At the end of the course, you will have an individual collection of watercolour works in your hands.
Anyone who would like to try out watercolour painting and exchange ideas with others in a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere is welcome. No previous knowledge required.
About the course leader: I am Paula Straub and have been painting for as long as I can remember. I studied art and design as a teacher and bring both artistic experience and didactic knowledge to my painting practice.
