Romantic panopticon
A cheerful multimedia romantic revue
Before the year 2025 comes to an end, the Förderverein Schloss- und Gutshofanlage Ludwigsburg e. V. is presenting a cultural treat: As part of its New Year's Eve tour, the ensemble "CERCA DIO" will perform its programme "Romantic Panopticon" on Monday, 29 December 2025, at 6.00 pm in the castle chapel (Kirchweg 6 a).
The audience can look forward to a cheerful multimedia round dance through the Romantic period. Painting, fairy tales, music and medicine - Caspar David Friedrich, Ludwig Tieck, Carl Maria von Weber, Carl Gustav Carus and many others: In the Romantic period, the world was a fairytale village. In the "Romantic Panopticon" of "CERCA DIO", the audience encounters many more artists, philosophers and scientists of this fascinating era, where everyone talked to and about everyone else. In twelve humorous dialogues with the audience, these characters tell us what life was like back then and what we can keep from it for today.
To the romantic sounds of the piano and cello, this evening is an opportunity to indulge in fantasies, legends and anecdotes. Soon you will no longer be able to distinguish reality from fairy tales, soon you will not be able to switch between laughter and tears so quickly and simply remain: touched by life and art.
The ensemble "CERCA DIO" performs with Johannes Gärtner (book, production, acting, projection and direction), Elke Zeh (acting), Alexander Morawitz (piano, organ, musical direction) and Ekaterina Gorynina (violoncello).
Tickets (€20.00, concessions €15.00) are available in advance online at https://www.etix.com/ticket/v/25661/?cobrand=CercaDio ; advance bookings can be made by emailing post@johannesgaertner.de.
