Pomerania / Pomorze - Land by the sea. Vikings & Slavs in focus
Highlights of the permanent historical exhibition
On the occasion of the special exhibition "Viking Gold. Treasure politics since 1800", which can be seen until 11 January 2026, the focus this time is on the Vikings and Slavs.
Pomerania and Pomorze bear the location by the sea in their names. The region is characterised by the Baltic Sea, which both unites and divides. Discover the highlights of the eventful history of the German-Polish landscape: from glaciers to the Reformation, from the Swedish era to European Pomerania.
We offer guided tours on the second Saturday of every month: at 12.00 noon through the Pomeranian regional history in the Grey Monastery and from November at 3.00 pm through the Gallery of Romanticism.
Admission: € 5.00 plus museum entrance fee
Duration: 1 hour
