Workshop weekend: Meditation made easy
How to change your perspective to be happy every day.
In order to enjoy inner peace and balance, the course practises variations of meditation that have their origins in the yoga tradition. Even though yoga exercises have become a popular sport, the mental and spiritual aspects of yoga often fall by the wayside. But it is precisely these aspects that form the secure basis for experiencing the power of inner stillness. In addition to practical meditation exercises, this workshop is also dedicated to this extremely inspiring, refreshingly up-to-date and very precise wealth of knowledge on the correct "use" of the human psyche. This makes all the difference. It is the only way you can be happy every day. Consequently, meditation in yoga is anything but just sitting around, doing nothing and being bored while precious time passes.
The aim of meditation is to calm the energy-sapping and tiring maelstrom of automatic thoughts, feelings and actions. It is considered to be the most important exercise for finding yourself. On the way there, contentment, clarity and lightness become your companions. The combination of exercises in this workshop makes it possible for you to try out both physical and mental postures in order to approach this goal. During this weekend you will feel the power of inner stillness, from which freshness and inspiration bubble up. You can take a step back and breathe deeply.
You will travel individually.
Registration for the course is mandatory and can be made via the website www.vhs-vg.de or in person at the Adult Education Centre.
Programmes offered by the Vorpommern-Greifswald Adult Education Centre are aimed at people aged 14 and over.
