Contact-Jam

Free dancing with contact and dance improvisation

On November 21, 2025 from 4:30 pm - 7 pm a contact jam will take place in the dance room of the Kunstwerkstätten, Anklamer Str. 15/16 in Greifswald. The jam will be introduced by Nikolas Kroeger with a focus on the topics of gravity and regulation of body tension. In addition, initial impulses will be given for making contact. A warm invitation!

Contact jams are open events where people dance and improvise together. Apart from a short warm-up to get to know the room and the group, there are no instructions. After that, it is possible to move freely. All people who like to move and experiment are welcome! Even if you want to know what contact improvisation actually is, you are welcome to come along!

A donation towards the room rental fee is requested for participation.
