Julia Pustet liest "Alles ganz schlimm"
The irrational consistency of unreliability. Salon de la critique at the Koeppenhaus
Stand still when the world is racing
Finally arrived - right? Susanne has survived her twenties, built a life for herself and everything is actually going quite well. But somehow conflicts keep creeping into her friendships and romances, rifts and intrigues arise, and her surroundings increasingly become a playing field whose rules she doesn't understand. The feeling of emptiness leaves room for memories, and Susanne begins to write about a long-forgotten chapter of her young adult years: her time as a prostitute. The text develops unexpected power when a friend steals it and publishes it as her own - appropriating not only her thoughts but also her trauma.
Rumors, statements and shitstorms follow, which ultimately lead Susanne to break off the life that kept her inner turmoil in check. She seeks peace and support from her family. But the fear creeps in that this is the place that will cause everything to fall apart ...
