Finissage zur Ausstellung „Alleen in Pommern“
We cordially invite you to celebrate the closing of the exhibition "Avenues in Pomerania" on October 27, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the lecture hall of the Central University Library.
Three speakers will give keynote speeches on the topics of "Nature conservation", "Chaussee construction: a historical outline of the last 200 years" and "Avenues in international scientific literature". You will also have the opportunity to visit the exhibition and talk to the speakers and curators of the exhibition.
Afterwards there will be culinary snacks and drinks.
The lecture room is barrier-free.

Impulse 1: Road construction - a journey through the history of roads in the region over the last two centuries
Jens Krage, graduate civil engineer and head of the Neustrelitz road construction office, responsible for the federal and state roads in the two districts of Vorpommern-Greifswald and Mecklenburgische Seenplatte.
Impulse 2: Avenues - their importance, their function
Gordon Käbelmann, BUND regional office Neubrandenburg, responsible for adult education and participation procedures.
Impulse 3: lost in translation - avenues in the international scientific literature
Milena Schwarz, member of staff at the Chair of AVWL and Landscape Economics (currently on parental leave). She is doing her doctorate on the topic of "economic benefits of avenues".
