MUSIC AND SCIENCE Action Day
DER WALD - Music and science in Greifswald
with sound exhibition, action day and big orchestra concert
A young orchestra comes to Greifswald and asks itself: What does the forest sound like? How do we feel about nature, about landscapes such as the moor or the sea? What are Greifswald scientists researching? Can this research be "set to music" - made audible? With a sound exhibition on the rampart, an action day for young and old and a large orchestral concert in the cathedral, the musicians of ensemble reflektor are exploring these questions and inviting you to a week full of music and science - and many new encounters!
In a varied day around the sound exhibition LAUTE BÄUME with compositions from the rainforest, the musicians of Ensemble Reflektor will embark on a journey of discovery together with the audience: can we put ourselves in the shoes of trees? What is being researched in Greifswald? What does the forest sound like? What makes the forests in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern so special? A day to join in, explore and discover for young and old!
