Friedrich Andreoni: This all sounds
Exhibition in the gallery of the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Zentrum from 12.07.2025 to 04.10.2025
From July 12 to October 4, the exhibition "Friedrich Andreoni: This all sounds" can be viewed in the gallery of the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Zentrum.
About the exhibition: This all sounds
Friedrich Andreoni acts as an archaeologist of past and future histories. He often works in situ, making memories and (forgotten) narratives of specific places and people tangible. Similar to the excavation of earth and sand, Andreoni's keen eye uncovers the forms and materials of everyday life layer by layer, thus opening up new approaches to our material and immaterial world.
In his first institutional solo exhibition in Germany, sound works meet sculpture, drawing, film and ready-mades, which in turn seem to transform into sound at the same moment. The themes of reminiscence, potentiality, spirituality and imagination explored in Andreoni's artistic practice extend across the four rooms of the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Zentrum gallery. The rooms are flooded with sound and connected with each other.
