Veranstaltung zur Sommersonnenwende

Concert, explanation of customs, solstice bonfire

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, we will celebrate the summer solstice at the beautiful Ludwigsburg Palace and Estate - a magical moment that marks the symbolic beginning of summertime. From 8 p.m., you can look forward to a special celebration in the annual cycle, where tradition and music merge in an enchanting way. The music group "Rabengesang" will take you on a journey through time and play songs from the past to the present - to listen to and sing along to. The highlight of the evening is the ceremonial lighting of the solstice bonfire at around 10 p.m., a fascinating ritual that brings the power and magic of the summer solstice bonfire to life. Food and drink will be provided! Admission to the event is free; we ask for donations for the benefit of the musicians and the support association. The midsummer celebration in Ludwigsburg is a wonderful example of how old customs can be interpreted and cultivated in a new way. This celebration invites you to escape from everyday life, enjoy the simplicity and beauty of life and share the joys of summer with family, friends and new acquaintances. Come along and celebrate the magic of the summer solstice with us - an evening not to be missed!
