Colorful market hustle and bustle, live music and art exhibitions
Parallel to the exhibitions as part of "Kunst:Offen", the Förderverein is organizing a herb and smoke market on Whitsunday, 8 June 2025, on the Ludwigsburg castle and estate grounds. From 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., traders and producers will come together under the motto "From the region - for the region". In the afternoon there will be live music from "Rabengesang".
More than 20 artists will be exhibiting at "Kunst:Offen" in Ludwigsburg from June 7 to 9. In addition to a large joint exhibition by members of the Pommersche Künstlerbund e. V., Kerstin Nankemann, Madlen Ungelenk, Burkhard Szymanski and Hilde Uebel will be represented with personal exhibitions. Most of the exhibited works can be purchased on site.
The castle of the Pomeranian dukes can also be visited. The renovation of the windows on the upper floors and in the attic is almost complete. On Whit Sunday at 11.30 a.m., there will be a guided tour of the palace by Friedrich August von Klinkowström, the painter who was born in Ludwigsburg in 1778.
The palace chapel in Ludwigsburg is also open. On Sunday, the crypt under the chapel can be visited between 13:00 and 15:00. The crypt was only renovated last year.
All art exhibitions are open from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. Admission is free. Catering will be provided.
