Art exhibitions at an original venue of North German Romanticism
The art exhibitions at the Ludwigsburg castle and estate complex will be officially opened by the mayor of the municipality on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the archway of the granary building. The Kornhalle will host a large joint exhibition by 21 members of the Pomeranian Artists' Association, representing different genres and techniques. In the rooms of the old wheelwright's workshop, there are personal exhibitions by Madlen Ungelenk and Hilde Uebel to admire. Kerstin Nankemann will be exhibiting in the Beamtenhaus. Most of the exhibited works of art can be purchased.
A small documentary about the Ludwigsburg-born painter Friedrich August von Klinkowström (1778-1835) can be viewed in the castle. Klinkowström was a companion of Caspar David Friedrich and Philipp Otto Runge.
Visitors will be catered for. Admission is free. The exhibitions and the castle are open throughout the Whitsun weekend until 18:00.
