Art exhibitions at an original venue of North German Romanticism

The art exhibitions at the Ludwigsburg castle and estate complex will be officially opened on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the archway of the granary building by the mayor of the municipality of Loissin, Philipp Buchheister. The Kornhalle will host a large joint exhibition of over 20 members of the Pomeranian Artists' Association, representing a variety of genres and techniques. In the rooms of the old wheelwright's workshop there will be personal exhibitions by Madlen Ungelenk and Hilde Uebel. Kerstin Nankemann and Burkhard Szymanski will be exhibiting in the Beamtenhaus. Most of the exhibited works of art can be purchased.

The castle of the Pomeranian dukes can also be visited. The renovation of the windows on the upper floors and in the attic is almost complete. At 11.30 a.m., a guided tour of the palace will begin with Friedrich August von Klinkowström, the painter who was born in Ludwigsburg in 1778.

The palace chapel in Ludwigsburg is also open. On Saturday, the crypt under the chapel can be visited between 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm. The crypt was only renovated last year. Visitors will be catered for. Admission is free! The exhibitions and the castle are open on Saturday until 18:00.
