Künstleringespräch und Katalogpräsentation
Prof. Dagmar Lißke in conversation with Prof. Dr. Werner Stegmaier as part of the current exhibition "Dagmar Lißke - swimming in blue"
We cordially invite you to the artist talk between Prof. Dagmar Lißke and Prof. Dr. Werner Stegmaier on May 24 at 2 pm in the context of the current exhibition "Dagmar Lißke: swimming in blue". The catalog for the current exhibition "swimming in blue" will also be presented as part of the artist talk. Admission is free.
About the artist talk:
Werner Stegmaier was the founding director of the Institute of Philosophy at the University of Greifswald after reunification and held the Chair of Philosophy from 1994 to 2011. Dagmar Lißke and Werner Stegmaier have enjoyed a friendship and a mutually stimulating artistic and philosophical exchange for many years.
Werner Stegmaier writes in the presented catalog:
"Great art is unique. Dagmar Lißke has developed her very own, unmistakable style, by which her works are immediately recognizable. It can be described by a few characteristics. But it always retains its mystery, and it is precisely this mystery that attracts our interest. It is the depth of her art."
We look forward to a lively discussion. Take the opportunity to get to know the artist and her work better. The exhibition catalog designed by Gertrud Fahr presents a multifaceted overview of Dagmar Lißke's working methods and series of works since the year 2000.
