Videodokumentationen von Ausstellungen und Performances

Constantly changing during opening hours

During regular opening hours, video documentations of the performance "Above the Sea of Fog: Caspar David Friedrich and Han Shan" and the exhibition "The Painter's Dream - CDF as a Multimedia Artist" can be viewed in the CDF Center.

The video documentation of the performance "Above the Sea of Fog: Caspar David Friedrich and Han Shan" shows the painting performance with music and poetry with the artist Xianwei Zhu (Stuttgart/Krefeld) and the poet Tobias Reußwig (Greifswald), which took place in October last year at the Eldena monastery ruins. The Chinese artist Xianwei Zhu is known for his landscape paintings inspired by Caspar David Friedrich. As part of the performance, Zhu produced a live ink drawing to musical accompaniment, while Tobias Reußwig recited his poetry inspired by Han Shan's poems.

The installation "The Painter's Dream" picks up on Caspar David Friedrich's concept of the
