After his first trip, Gunther Gehler felt: "Part of me has stayed in Iceland. My two parts want to be together again." Initially enchanted by the impressive natural wonders such as geysers and waterfalls, he later discovered the less glamorous sides of the island. But his love for Iceland remained. He has been traveling to the country for 25 years. The photos in this exhibition were taken during his trip in 2023 - an ongoing search for his "second self".
