The singer-songwriter from Lübeck is a guest at the STRAZEcafé.

With his debut album *“überall hört der Himmel auf.”*, singer-songwriter Ole Tieden delves into a world that often seems harsh and bleak. Accompanied by gentle acoustic sounds and the natural sounds of the Wadden Sea, he contrasts this with hope and love.

Tieden sings of empty houses and dark waters, the search for a home, and the impossibility of saving everyone. Yet his music is not an expression of gloom, but rather an alternative to a modern, emotionless world. Not every deed needs to be grand, nor every person a hero; Ole Tieden shows that vulnerability and compassion can unleash strength. Being tender is an act of resistance.

His songs will not stop a hail of bullets, nor will they rattle the powerful. But they create a space in which people can meet in closeness and goodwill, rest and let themselves drift.
