Jazz by the Sea at the 2026 Usedom Music Festival: Swedish pianist Martin Tingvall will perform his solo programme “When Light Returns” at the SEETELHOTEL Villa Esplanade in Heringsdorf.

Nordic musical magic by the sea: Swedish pianist Martin Tingvall, leader of the Tingvall Trio – winners of multiple ECHO Jazz Awards – and a resident of Hamburg by choice, will be performing at the 2026 Usedom Music Festival at the SEETELHOTEL Villa Esplanade in Heringsdorf. His solo programme “When Light Returns” invites listeners on a poetic musical journey between darkness and new beginnings, silence and hope.

With catchy melodies, subtle nuances and great emotional depth, Tingvall creates an unmistakable, Nordic-influenced sound that bridges neo-classical and jazz – a soundscape that places him in the same league as Nils Frahm and Ólafur Arnalds. He will also be offering exclusive previews of tracks from his forthcoming solo album.
