Thomas “Eichi” Eichstätt coaches the FC Pio football team in the small town of Torgelow in eastern Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Many of the young players have fled their home countries and are struggling with finding work, gaining acceptance and coming to terms with their past. For many, Eichi is a father figure, yet he too looks back on a dark period in the far-right scene.
A feature-length documentary about what it means to build bridges and start afresh in life.
