For many, the Baltic Sea is a place of longing - but what is its real state? On 17 June, Ramon Gerwien will be a guest at the OZEANEUM and present his latest book "Ostsee - Wie geht's?" in a multimedia book presentation. In it, the biologist and journalist sheds light on the ecological challenges of a unique habitat and shows how human influences affect the sea.
In addition to the causes and consequences, the author also looks at possible solutions and current protection measures. In the subsequent discussion, he will join Dorit Visbeck-Liebers and Anja Gallus from the German Oceanographic Museum to discuss perspectives for the future of the Baltic Sea. The event is being organised in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Foundation MV.
