the political board games project

A play project at Klempenow Castle - for young people aged 10 to 18 (and those who are a little older are of course also welcome).

Board games show how society works - with power relations, colonialism, racism, gender roles, competition, co-operation or ecological issues.

At "Wir spielen Geselschaft" you play with rules, ideas and topics and discover how games reflect our world - and how you can change it.

Taster day - 1 April 2026:
We start with a giant version of Carcassonne on the castle lawn and fill it with our own ideas.

Games camp - 1 - 14 August 2026:
Four days of game rounds, discussions, rule hacks and creative experiments - indoors, outdoors, together.

Closing party - 26 September 2026:
Show off your modified game ideas, let others play along and celebrate the finale with us!
