On the Intercultural Week 2026, moderated by Wolfram Tschiche

Natalka Sniadanko (Lviv/Leipzig), a Ukrainian writer, translator and PhD student at the Institute of Slavic Studies at the University of Leipzig, will speak about the role of literature in times of war.
Drawing on the anthology of the same name, she will read selected texts and offer insights into writing and life in Ukraine.

The subsequent discussion will provide an opportunity for questions and debate.
