"International Museum Day" at the MEERESMUSEUM
On 17 May 2026, the MEERESMUSEUM invites you to a free guided tour on the occasion of "International Museum Day".
11 am | 60 minutes
A museum is more than just exhibitions and aquariums - on International Museum Day we give our guests an insight into the MEERESMUSEUM in a one-hour guided tour.
Explore the diversity of the seas in the impressive St Catherine's Hall of the former Dominican monastery and learn interesting facts and stories about turtles, sharks and the diversity of invertebrates.
After the tour, visitors can explore the museum on their own.
The programme is suitable for all ages. The meeting point for the tour is under the digital shoal of sardines at the beginning of the exhibition tour.
Time: 11 am
Duration: 60 minutes
The number of participants is limited. Participation in the free guided tour is only possible with a valid guided tour and admission ticket.
Tickets are available in the online shop and at the museum ticket offices on site.
