A lively market atmosphere, live music by ARTUR, guided tours of the castle

At the summer market on Saturday, 8 August 2026, the Ludwigsburg Palace and Estate will once again be buzzing with colourful market activity between 10.00 and 18.00, under the motto: ‘From the region – for the region’. A very special musical performance awaits guests in the afternoon: ARTUR will be playing live in the palace courtyard from 2.00 pm. For children, there will be face painting in the clubhouse and, from 11.00 am, a hands-on activity organised by the Pommerscher Künstlerbund e. V. in the old wheelwright’s workshop. All exhibitions are open, and the castle can be visited throughout the market. Guided tours of the castle start at 11.30 am and 4.30 pm at the main entrance to the building. Refreshments will be available.
Admission to the market costs €2.00 per person. Children and young people under the age of 16 have free entry to the market. Free parking is available on the festival grounds in front of the complex and in the small car park by the castle pond.
Please note that, as a rule, only cash payments are accepted at the market.
