Under the motto -Reclaim the Frame- "Die Hyäne Kino" presents a queer-feminist film once a month in the STRAZEsaal.

Joseph and Sonya are bound by a close friendship and their young son Pino, whom they are raising together. While director Joseph is working on a new film idea and the break-up with his ex-boyfriend Marc, Sonya is suffering from depression, which is increasingly tearing her out of her life. When she is admitted to a clinic, Joseph not only has to juggle his everyday family life, but also his artistic ambitions.

Hyäne Kino is a queer-feminist film collective. Our namesake, the hyena, is probably one of the most queer mammals. Not only can it not be visually assigned to any gender, it also lives under female leadership.
Under the motto "Reclaim the Frame", we show a film with a queer theme or directed by a FLINTA* person once a month on a Sunday.
Just in time for June - Pride Month - we are launching our cooperation with STRAZEkino. It's going to be colourful, it's going to be queer, it's going to be cozy!
Let's celebrate diversity and have fun together. Come a little early and enjoy a drink in the STRAZEcafé.
As a small highlight, there will be colourful snacks to exchange for a few golden ducats.

A further education event organised by STRAZEkultur and "Die Hyäne Kino" at the Kultur- und Initiativenhaus Greifswald e.V. with financial support from the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Centre for Political Education.

The STRAZE is wheelchair-accessible. There is a lift and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. All toilets are all-gender toilets. Beanbags are available as alternative seating.
