At KinoAufSegeln, films are projected directly onto a sail at sunset - a unique and magical cinema experience right on the Ryck.

KinoAufSegeln has a long tradition in the Bodden and harbour city of Greifswald, not only because ships are part of the city's image, but also because culture plays an important role for our home port.

This edition of Kino auf Segeln is part of the "Greifswald International Students Festival 2026", which takes place from 17-21 June under the motto "Shaping Spaces - Creating Communities". The Kino auf Segeln in the museum shipyard is also a special "place" and we look forward to bringing many people together there to enjoy culture and film.

In case of bad weather (too cold, too windy, rainy) the KinoAufSegeln will take place in the Heineschuppen.
