On 27 May 2026 in the Audimax of the University of Greifswald: Clear the stage for fresh ideas! Students will present their concepts for practical final theses in short pitches. A jury from business and science will award prizes to the best entries. The aim is to create links between students and regional companies at an early stage and to make potential for future collaboration visible.
Interested parties can register until 23 May at the following link.
Students pitch for prizes and prospects
Students deal with questions from regional companies and get to know potential employers at the same time. The three best pitches will be honoured with cash and non-cash prizes, including from Sparkasse Vorpommern, Seetel Hotel GmbH and ABS gGmbH.

Background
The event is part of the project "connectUS - Companies and Students in the Greifswald Region". The aim is to connect students with regional companies at an early stage and to retain skilled workers in the region in the long term. The project is funded by the European Social Fund Plus as part of the ESF Plus programme 2021-2027 of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The "Pitchival" is organised by the Welcome Center Region Greifswald in cooperation with the University of Greifswald.
