The Lubmin Volunteer Fire Brigade is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. Since its foundation in 1901, the fire brigade has stood for safety and camaraderie in the seaside resort. The comrades will be celebrating this special milestone with a bang and the ceremonial handover of the brand new fire station.

The festive day begins at 10:00 a.m. with a large parade. The starting point is the old equipment shed in Freester Straße. From there, the corps parades through the streets under escort until it arrives at the new location at 11.00 am.
11.00 a.m. marks the emotional highlight of the day. The official opening and handover of the new equipment shed at Teufelstein 77. From this point onwards, interested members of the public have the opportunity to take a look inside the modern equipment shed on guided tours throughout the day.
