Varied programme with technical show, operational demonstrations, guided tours and hands-on activities / When: 10:00 - 19:00; Where: Greifswald fire brigade (Wolgaster Straße 63)

From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Greifswald fire brigade opens its doors to young and old.
Among other things, there will be a technology show where emergency vehicles and equipment will be presented. Firefighters will explain how they use this technology in everyday life and the challenges they face. In addition, guided tours of the fire station will provide an insight into the processes involved in the day-to-day running of the station. Visitors can get active themselves at several stations. The hands-on activities for young and old show how important teamwork and correct behaviour are in an emergency. Supplementary presentations provide information about the tasks of the fire brigade, the path to a career or voluntary position as a firefighter, as well as civil protection and personal precautions.
Of course, there will also be plenty of refreshments.

Important note: There are no parking spaces available on the premises. Please use the surrounding car parks or travel by public transport.
