Seeside live in the castle park - inclusive summer concert at Griebenow Baroque Castle

Griebenow, 21 June 2026 - Griebenow Baroque Castle invites you to a special musical experience on Sunday, 21 June 2026: The Greifswald band Seeside will be performing in the castle park at 17:00 and promises an atmospheric afternoon in a unique historical setting.

Since its foundation in 2007, Seeside has stood for music that connects and touches. The band is a project of the workshops of the Pommerscher Diakonieverein e.V. - its members are predominantly people with disabilities. What makes Seeside special is not only their inclusive approach, but above all their musical expressiveness and authenticity.

With self-written lyrics and soulful vocals, the band presents a varied programme that ranges from good humour and reflective tones to romance, humour and rock'n'roll. Seeside knows how to take their audience on an emotional journey and create a special atmosphere on every stage.

The band has also made a name for itself nationally: in 2011, Seeside won the nationwide competition "Guildo sucht die Superband" as the best of 204 participating bands. In summer 2023, they were also honoured as the best band in the "Band Contest Inklusiv".

The name "Seeside" is derived from the English word "see" - a deliberately chosen image: music makes visible what often remains hidden. For the blind musicians in the band in particular, it represents a special form of seeing and being seen.

The concert in the castle park of the Griebenow baroque castle offers not only musical enjoyment, but also an impressive example of inclusion in action.
