Unveiling of a memorial plaque at the site of the former home of the poet Sibylla Schwarz at Domstraße 12
According to the latest research, the home of Mayor Christian Schwarz and his family once stood at Domstraße 12, but was unfortunately destroyed in the 17th century. The Sibylla Schwarz Society is now installing a commemorative plaque on the current building, which will be unveiled on Friday, 24 April at 3 pm.
This will be followed by three short lectures in the St. Nikolai parish hall, Domstraße 13, which will provide insights into the life and work of Sibylla Schwarz in the neighbourhood of the University of Greifswald.
