Big spring clean: Greifswald tidies up!

On 28 March 2026, the motto is once again: "Greifswald cleans up!" Many helpers, both young and old, will get our city ready for spring. Containers have been set up all over Greifswald and, thanks to REMONDIS, free bin bags, gloves and grabbers are available to borrow.
Daycare centres and schools will also be taking part in their own campaign week from 16 to 24 March. Even the youngest children can playfully learn how important a clean environment is.
Families can take part in a relaxed way in their neighbourhood - on a walk, in the playground or around the house. Everything that is collected can be taken to the containers provided by 12 noon.
A day in the fresh air - and a great feeling of doing something good for our city together. The day of action is supported by WVG, WGG, the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald, REMONDIS Vorpommern Greifswald GmbH, Stadtwerke Greifswald, ABS gGmbH, the Peter Warschow Collection Foundation, Greifswald University Medical Centre, toom Baumartk, Autohaus Peene GmbH, Heimatverein Ladebow e.V., Ströer, Hansekindern and many more.
