Wind music at Easter time
On 18 April 2026 at 5 pm, a festive brass band concert will take place in St. Mary's Church to mark the Easter season.
Wind players from Greifswald and Wieck invite you to a musical hour dedicated to the joy of Easter.
You can expect a varied programme with wind music from several centuries - from old Renaissance dances to modern compositions for trombone choir. In addition to festive instrumental music, Easter chorales will also be played, inviting you to listen and sing along.
The brass music is a joint project with brass players from all three trombone choirs in the city. I am delighted that we are once again coming together for this occasion and making music together.
