When the scent of burning beech wood fills the salty sea air and the crackling of the flames heralds the arrival of spring, it's time once again for one of the most popular highlights in the seaside resort of Lubmin. On Sunday, 5 April 2026, Diesterwegplatz will be transformed into a festive backdrop for the traditional Easter bonfire from 16:00.

While the adults enjoy the convivial atmosphere with a cold drink or savoury food, the youngest guests will be entertained. At around 17:00, the well-known children's entertainer "Lilly Wünschebaum" will come and provide a great atmosphere, dancing and smiling faces with her interactive hands-on programme. A bouncy castle invites you to let off steam.

Food and drink will be provided throughout the afternoon. Regional vendors offer a wide range of food and drinks.
The emotional highlight of the day comes at dusk, when the Easter bonfire is lit.
The blazing light traditionally symbolises the end of winter and welcomes the warm season to the seaside resort.
In the evening, the DJ invites you to dance the night away.
