On 25 May 2026, the mill festival will be celebrated on Eldenaer Mühlenberg to mark the 33rd German Mill Day.

When the red-tipped rods of the Eldenaer Bockwindmühle windmill turn in the wind on Whit Monday every year, it's time for the mill festival again. For the 33rd German Mill Day, the Eldenaer Mühle e.V. association invites you to dance and music, as well as food and drink at the Eldenaer Mühlenberg. The historic mill will be open for guided tours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., giving visitors an insight into the traditional miller's trade. Young and old can even grind their own grain at a hand mill. Accompanied by the usual whimsical music from the band "Echo Combo" and presumably the Greifswald brass band, musical variety is guaranteed and whether it's coffee and cake with friends and family, or at the drinks or barbecue stand - the physical well-being is taken care of. You can also stroll through the traditional craft market or visit the picturesque art barn, which is also part of "Kunst offen". As usual, admission is free; donations are collected for the preservation of the Eldena Mill and for cultural events on the Mühlenberg. We look forward to seeing you!
