Daniel Krug reads from the diaries of his father Manfred Krug
A literary evening full of humour, reflection and remembrance; venue: Kulturhaus Dambeck (Chausseestr. 26a, 17495 Dambeck / Groß Kiesow)
Daniel Krug, son of the unforgotten actor, singer and writer Manfred Krug, gives an insight into his eventful inner life. In an impressive and highly amusing reading, he reads selected passages from his father's private diaries, which are touching and thought-provoking, while at the same time allowing Krug's typical humour to shine through. Krug's notes paint a multi-layered picture of a man who experienced and helped to shape contemporary history - between East and West, stage and living room, fame and doubt. Personal reflections, political commentary and everyday observations combine to create an authentic portrait of an extraordinary life. The reading is accompanied by personal anecdotes and memories, which Daniel Krug shares with the audience in an empathetic way.
