RE3 - between train and platform edge
EXTRA
The bricks remain outside, raindrops on window panes. You hear giggling behind closed loo doors, see a couple playing cards and taste stale beer in the morning. A restorer dreams of peace and quiet and someone who is lost is waiting at the back. Next to you, a child draws fathers in love and pensioners in hats. In front, a conductor with a badge of honour is checking students without school, and in front of the door the train driver is smoking the scheduled stop, but the station has already been torn down. Outside, the sun beats down on a field while the full rows remain empty and you stand in the aisle without a seat. Strange travellers on their way to paradise.
On behalf of KBB-Regio, Paula Dieckmann, Jakob Schleert and Franz Warnek welcome you to a theatrical journey about travelling by train - about stations, passengers, conductors and all the real and unreal stories in between.
