Sorry, Baby (STRAZEkino)
"Sorry, Baby" is Eva Victor's powerful feature film debut - a clever and tender story about healing, friendship and quiet self-assertion.
Feature film / USA 2025 / Director: Eva Victor / 104 min. / Original language / FSK12
Agnes, a young literature professor in New England, is thrown off course after a traumatic experience. While those around her go back to business as usual, she struggles with the feeling of being stuck. In five chapters and over the course of several years, the film follows her journey back to herself - supported by sharp humour and the unconditional support of her best friend.
In calm images and with a fine sense of nuance, "Sorry, Baby" tells of the search for orientation when one's own life falls apart at the seams and of the immeasurable power of friendship. A comforting film with a long-lasting effect.
