Nordic Sound 2026: Closing party
Smooth&Easy and Disco with GiddyGang and Inspector Spacetime
Closing festival is a funny word, because the end of a Nordischer Klang is more of a reason to be sad than happy. We want to approach the wait for the next festival with optimism and load up on musical happiness to fuel the anticipation for 2027.
GiddyGang
This seven-piece collective from Oslo fuses R&B, soul, jazz and hip-hop with playful ease to create a warm, personal sound with smooth vocal harmonies and groove-fuelled songs. It's simply infectious: After just 2-3 seconds you're in the flow! Originating from organic jam sessions in 2019, the seven-piece gang has quickly developed into one of Norway's most exciting musical acts. Their band spirit draws on gospel traditions, jazzy improvisation and the language of hip-hop. (Photo: private)
Inspector Spacetime
The band Inspector Spacetime from Reykjavík makes music that you simply have to move to. They combine influences from legendary acts such as Daft Punk, The Prodigy and Charli XCX. The aim is simple: songs that are fun and get people dancing.
Since the release of their self-titled debut album in early 2020, the band has quickly made a name for itself in the Icelandic music scene. Their sound has been well received by fans and pop critics alike. Live, they are now regarded as one of the most exciting bands in Iceland, full of energy, captivating and always close to the audience.
