Pomerania / Pomorze - Land by the sea. Focus on the 20th century
Saturday tour - Highlights of the historical permanent exhibition
On 27 January, we regularly commemorate the victims of National Socialism. 12/13 February also marks the anniversary of the deportation of the Jewish population of the administrative district of Szczecin in 1940 - the first anti-Semitic mass deportation from the German Reich. For this reason, the guided tour in February will focus on the 20th century.
Pomerania and Pomorze bear the location by the sea in their names. The region is characterised by the Baltic Sea, which unites and divides at the same time. Discover the highlights of the eventful history of the German-Polish landscape: from glaciers to the Reformation, from the Swedish era to European Pomerania.
Every second Saturday of the month at 12.00 noon, we offer guided tours through Pomeranian regional history in the Grey Monastery.
Admission: € 5.00 plus museum entrance fee
