Anatomy of a case
Cinema in the old fire station
Sandra, Samuel and their eleven-year-old visually impaired son Daniel have been living far away from civilisation in the mountains for a year. One day, Samuel is found dead at the foot of their house. An investigation is launched into the suspicious death. The investigators seem to want to bring the case to a quick end themselves. After all, the burden of proof on Sandra is not exactly high when the public prosecutor's office presses charges against her. Sandra herself continues to struggle with the death of her husband: did he kill himself or was it really - as the investigators suspect - murder? A year passes before the trial begins in court. Daniel is also called to the witness stand. The relationship between mother and son is then put to the test - above all by the public prosecutor, who begins to brutally scrutinise them with her questions.
