Hinterlandgang. Support: Carls8erg
Big record release party for the new Hinterlandgang album "Vielleicht wird alles gut". Special guest is Carls8erg, winner of the 2025 State Pop Festival.
The great strength of rap has always been the direct, authentic reporting from supposedly isolated neighbourhoods. Hinterlandgang continue this tradition and provide a much-needed mouthpiece for the rural East. "We pop the corks off your mum's bottles. You say it's better that way, because then she won't drink them herself" (Pogo) They tackle challenging, personal topics, take us to hospital beds (Wenn du lachst), show us photos of the deceased (Ein Bild von dir), talk about courage and drive, but also about being threatened with machetes (Anfang) or feeling like robots between work and pressure (Keine Angst). [...]
Vielleicht wird alles gut is an impressive album that gives strength, especially through the quieter moments. Strength for her environment, her fans, perhaps even herself. And Hinterlandgang have already proven where this strength can take you. Today, Albert and Pablo are the role models they used to be looking for, and if there is new momentum in the East, then that is also thanks to them.

The rousing performance, her songwriting and the stylistic confidence with which Carls8erg expresses herself musically impressed the jury of the Landespopfestival 2025. On 9 January, she will open the evening and get us dancing with her mix of indie pop/electo/rap.
We don't know if everything will turn out well, but this evening definitely will.
