Neighborhood Day 2026 - A festival for encounters, exchange and community in Greifswald.

In 2026, we once again cordially invite you to the Neighbourhood Day. The festival is all about togetherness: neighbours come together to enjoy an afternoon full of encounters, conversations and shared experiences.

On 22 May, Bürgerhafen is once again organising the Neighbourhood Day on the cathedral forecourt in Greifswald together with many other institutions and initiatives, from 2 pm to 6 pm. There will be a colourful outdoor party with many neighbours, initiatives and associations from Greifswald. Everyone is welcome to come along and get to know (new) neighbours, chat and bring plants or clothes for the swap meet. You can also visit the free festival together with your neighbours - there's lots to discover: live music, cake, face painting, games, activities and crafts, hands-on activities, information stands and much more. There are also great prizes for young and old to be won in the raffle!
