DIE WIESE – EIN PARADIES NEBENAN
DIE WIESE - EIN PARADIES NEBENAN is an impressive nature documentary by Jan Haft ( Die Magie der Moore) about the fascinating world of the native flower meadow.
It's the paradise next door - the meadow. Nowhere is it as colorful, diverse and beautiful as in a blooming summer meadow. Hundreds of species of birds, grasshoppers, cicadas and other animals live among the grasses and colorful flowering herbs of the meadow. The interplay of species, the interdependence of animals and plants, makes the flower meadow a cosmos in which there is so much to discover. A fascinating world that is home to a third of our plant and animal species. Shot in never-before-seen images and with great technical effort, the documentary introduces some of the most beautiful, lovable and bizarre inhabitants of our meadows. The main characters of the film are young deer twins who lead a life between the edge of the forest and the meadow and take the viewer along on their adventures. DIE WIESE - EIN PARADIES NEBENAN takes the audience into a world that everyone thinks they know, but which is full of wonders and surprises. Following the fabulous success of his major nature film productions "Das Grüne Wunder - Unser Wald" and "Magie der Moore", the multi-award-winning director and cameraman Jan Haft, who is now considered one of the best nature filmmakers in the world, brings the next local biotope to the big screen. DIE WIESE - EIN PARADIES NEBENAN documents in impressive shots the diversity and fascination of the flower meadow - a magnificent wonderland right on our doorstep. Thanks to the latest technology and the use of a first-class camera team, the film opens up a completely new perspective on this local natural spectacle. At the same time, the film, which was sponsored by the German Wildlife Foundation, is an appeal for careful treatment of a habitat whose progressive decline could have serious consequences.
