Anticipation is the greatest joy, which is why a colorful, fairytale-like hustle and bustle will get the people of Greifswald into the Christmas spirit on November 29th: young and old can stroll through an atmospheric Christmas market and experience lots of fun at the courtyard of the Greifswald Housing Cooperative (WGG) at Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 1 from 2 pm to 7 pm.

The Greifswald Wind Orchestra invites you to listen, sing and sway along with classic, international and jazzy Christmas songs. A spectacular fire show captivates the audience with sparkling performances. Santa Claus makes a flying visit - it's time to be quick and brave and whisper your heart's desire in the grumpy fellow's ear. Meanwhile, the grown-ups can pick up a gift or two for the festive season at the pretty stalls with all kinds of handmade items. And what would a Christmas market be without seasonal delicacies? With the smell of sweet treats and hearty grilled food, mulled wine, punch and much more, no one can resist.
